A Wine
The Malbec gives the Château
Paillas its typicity : a dark, almost black robe evolving over
the years to the garnet-red. Its aromas are black fruits (blackcurrant,
blueberry), violet, spices, to liquorice before evolve towards
autumnal flavours like truffles. Its mouth is dense, with smooth
tannins, a very good balance, long, and with a powerful structure
that allows it a great ability to age (up to 10 or even 20
years depending on the vintage).
The Merlot gives the Chateau Paillas wine the entire range
of red fruits (cherry, redcurrant,…), but it also brings roundness,
mellowness and bouquet.
Since its creation, The Château Paillas gained notoriety in
national and international contests awards, and in many guidebooks
and magazines.
